| Weihai is located on the north-eastern seashore of Shandong Province in China at 37"28' northern latitude and 122"7' east of Greenwich.

August is the warmest month with daily average temperature of 24.3¡É while January is the coldest with daily average temperature of -1.5¡É. As the city is backed by mountains and faces the sea, it has many famous sightseeing places.
